I think this thing is the sole reason why copper is so expensive these days

I don't pretend to really know anything about particle physics, but I do know that the images of the Large Hadron Collider are awesome. The startup date has been pushed back a number of times, but they are now saying that they will start early experiments sometime this month. The first step is to cool the entire collider down to -456.25F! That is cold.
