Pogonophile (n): one who loves beards

Check out this interview with Jack Passion, the man with what is officially the best beard in the world. Smart man he is.

Here is a quote regarding beards from the man himself: "It's a unique part of man-ness that one should experience at least once in their life." - At 23 years old he is wise beyond his years.

Beard growth documentation at its finest

There is always a period when a man with a beard shaves it off. This period does notlast. He returns headlong to his beard.

Seeing as I love beards, mustaches, and old timey things, I find this clip from an old episode of Conan to be hilarious. Watch this.

Now you can trim your goatee with the same precision with which you paint your home made star wars figurines

I love beards. I almost always have one, and right now I have the biggest beard of my life. Goatees on the other hand... But if they are your thing you can get this GoateeSaver to keep it all tight and trimmed. Not only is the idea ridiculous, but the aesthetic they decided to go with is completely insane.

Beards and Mustaches are Great

I would have come up with a better name for this but Newsweek already named the article "Pictures of Mustache Men." I assume the name is pays homage to the late 60's one hit wonder, Status Quo, and their song "Pictures of Matchstick Men."

I have been interested in/specialized in beards since I could grow one, so when I stumbled across this article I was pumped. As a matter of fact I just trimmed groomed mine up last night, and my beard is officially longer than my hair now! Anyhow, this is an article/photo gallery documenting a contest held by Bremerton, Washington's Whisker Club in preparation for the world championships.

Trust me, this is worth checking out just to see the guy's face in picture number 4.
