Cutouts are pretty cool right?

Yuken Teruya cuts trees out of everyday paper objects, and they turn out pretty amazing.

Kids love blocks, why do we stop loving blocks?

Jan Vormann, a dude from Berlin had a pretty good idea. Why not repair brick walls with colored bricks? Entitled Dispatchwork, this project rules, and looks great. I am not sure if he does it secretly or not, but if that's the case, it's even better.
Thanks Visualingual

I can't find much about this designer, but this table idea is fun

Marc Ligos designed this table that you have to be sitting at for it to stand up...I dig.

Thanks Pan-Dan

It baffles me that this is considered normal procedure

I came across this on oobject. They have list of ship launching videos and most of them are pretty nuts. This one has to be the craziet though. What are they thinking?

Thanks OObject

Indian girl commits suicide out of fear for what the LHC may bring...she might have been right.

So apparently a girl in India poisoned herself after hearing the far-fetched rumors that the LHC could create a black hole that would swallow the planet. Ya know, if the LHC were going to do this, wouldn't you want to be around when it happened, instead of poisoned just a few days prior? Well anyhow, she might have been right...check out the live webcam from LHC! DISASTER!

USA USB is BA

This DIY USA USB with built in fan and light keeps you reminded you live on the greatest country on earth, as you sit at your computer burning your eyes out. Isn't it beautiful?.. brings a tear to my eye every time I look at it.

Thanks Gizmodo...you're the greatest

Boop Beep Boop Beep Boop Boop Boop

I was walking down one of the many long halls at Ethicon Endo Surgery today and this song got stuck in my head. It seemed so fitting...Oh yeah, and I owned one of those keyboards when I was younger. Little did I know, all I had to do was say "Dah Dah Dah" while holding it and I could have become famous.

Man Uses Delorean with Hitch mod to Travel to a Time Long Ago to a Galaxy Far Far Away to Get Landspeeder

Apparently this guy made this thing from scratch and it actually drives...but only 25 mph... Pretty funny eh? And yes, that is a Delorean with it in the first picture, and Joey Fatone from 'Nsync with his own personal R2D2 in the second picture...I am definitely confused about all of this.

Thanks Gizmodo

I am all for things that originated in digital going to analog and this pushes it to a whole new level

I saw this quite some time ago but was reminded of it just the other night. The music and sound effects are the best.

World Champion Keytar Hero player gets her own video

Belinda Benekovic...the Croatian Keytar player everyone is talking about, filmed this awesome Poppin-Off-Loffskie exclusive video. Thanks Belinda!

I think bathroom humor is just as funny as the next guy...(probably more so) but for some reason this inflatable put grosses me out big time

Apparently Paul McCarthy's giant inflatable poop sculpture in Switzerland broke loose and reeked havok around town before settling on the grounds of a children's home. During all the pandemonium it managed to down power lines and break a window, as well as scare the...well, ya know, out of quite a few people.

Just Let those Baaaaaannngggsss Haaaaaaannnngg

What do you get when you combine the high style of a visor with the functionality of a baseball hat? The Bang-Go of course. You spend a lot of time on prepping those bangs for the tennis court so why shouldn't you be able to show them off?

Now you can trim your goatee with the same precision with which you paint your home made star wars figurines

I love beards. I almost always have one, and right now I have the biggest beard of my life. Goatees on the other hand... But if they are your thing you can get this GoateeSaver to keep it all tight and trimmed. Not only is the idea ridiculous, but the aesthetic they decided to go with is completely insane.

If I had to rep a brand this hard, what would it be?

There are some brands that I am really into, but this is nuts. Seeing as Mcdonalds and Hawaiian Punch have both already been taken, I think I would choose Caffeine Free Diet Coke. It's delicious, and the gold and red combo could make for a pretty good lookin bicycle.

Oh yeah...and watch this:

I understand the whole tiny turntable, ya know, with nanotechnology and all, but where do you find the tiny records?

Art Lebedev has just released the Plastinkus Scratch Pad, for people to mess around with and pretend they are a dj. From the video it looks like it is just a card with a texture that you scratch with your finger nail. Pretty ridiculous, but atleast it's only 4 bucks. Watch this video to see it in action.

Thanks

Robots are pretty damn funny, but peole working together to act like robots...funnier

This is a video of "Big Dog," which is the most advanced quadraped robot ever made. It is capable of doing some pretty amazing stuff on its own, is definitely going to take over the planet.

And this is a video of some people mocking "Big Dog." It may be even more amazing than the robot itself.

Isn't it nice that you can now take the parakeet that you love so much, everywhere you go?

As if that damn bird that is going to outlive you didn't annoy you enough already, you can now carry it everywhere with you. Here is a new backpack that is literally a birdcage that you carry on your back...awesome.

Thanks designboom

Taxidermy is weird enough as it is.

I have always thought the idea of stuffing ideas was rather odd, but stuffing animals with these chubby concrete people hugging them sets it over the top. I don't know what to think, but this ranks higher on my weird art scale than a cow head rotting away in a clear box anyday.

"You may need one only once in your lifetime"

I have a relatively long line of sharp shooters in my family, but that all stopped during my mom's generation, and I have never been to keen on guns. I stumbled upon this ad today, and thought it was nuts. Quotes like "accidental discharge impossible," and "you may need one only once in your lifetime" are rather disturbing. Knock on wood, but I am hoping that I never need one.
